New Anja Niemi Exhibition

Anja Niemi's latest project "Darlene and Me" is on exhibition at The Little Black Gallery in Fulham, London until the 10 March 2015.
This relates to Unit 1 Block 3, Self/Portraiture - also many of the exam titles for units 2 & 4.

 

• Born in Norway in 1976, Anja studied at the London College of Printing and Parsons School of Design in New York. Her highly stylised images possess a freakish quality to them and often display contrasting emotions such as tragedy and humour.
• Niemi's photos carry a loose narrative that leave room for subjective interpretation on the complex relationships we have with ourselves. She works hard at being photographer, model, stylist and post-production editor all in one.
